Problem with back tire
hey guys, I think something's wrong with one of my tires or the rear supsension or something, because there's this sort of squeaky sound, kind of a grinding sound, that i hear whenever the car moves. it's the rear tire on the driver's side. any help would be apreciated. thanx.

what is that? also, i think it looked like some oil or some black liquid resembling oil was leaking around the independent rear suspension. is it safe to drive the car short distances?
how does that happen, and is it expensive to fix? this guy fixed my car up and put in a new engine with only 40,000 miles on it, and he fixed a whole bunch of stuff. i don't know if he replaced the struts, but he replaced some stuff to do with the rear suspension.

sorry, 89 accord, the struts aren't anything special, not for racing or anything, or modified, just normal accord struts. thanx for all your help. do you think it's ok for me to drive to school tomarrow before i take it somewhere?
well squeaking and grinding aren't exactly the same thing.
grinding... wheel bearing?
but if there's an obvious dark liquid (touch it. is it petroleum base? oily?) then blown strut it is.
