Default Full T4 on a b-series street/strip

Does anyone have opinions about a full T4 60-1 Garrett or Turbonetics on a b-series engine? I'm debating on going with a full T4 on my LS/VTEC but I would like to hear if anyone has had experiences with a T4 in terms of how far up the powerband it will make power. My block is stock with inlinepro headgasket. Around 8.6 to 1 compression ratio. I was also considering a T3/60-1 with a .63 a/r on the exhaust. If anyone has tried a T4 or this turbo, how did it meet your expectations? Thanks

BIG lag...especially w/that compression.

So you think a t3/60-1 might be better? Basically I'm looking to hit around 350hp to the wheels at around 14-15 psi.

you dont need a huge turbo for that.
t3/to4e 57 trim (.63 a/r) can do it(i hope )
unless your looking for a later spooling turbo but even then just go with a .82 a/r.

I'm leaning more towards the t3/60-1. (.63 a/r turbine .70 a/r comp.)This has been the hardest decision so far. I believe that there is a guy with a ball bearing t4 on here somewhere, i think his name is auto ex or something like that.

t3/60-1 is going to be better choice for you. Hell, t3/t4 is even a better choice for you with that compression.

Yeah, I talked to Ken at cheapturbo.com and I think I'm going to go with the t3/60-1 with an inlinepro manifold. The turbine is a four bolt so I'll probably have to put the compressor on the drivers side. A/c was history a long time ago

Usually with lower compression you want a smaller turbo to spool fast, but with larger ones you can make more power with "MAJOR" lag. Even with a ball bearing one your going to experience lag. Besides unless your sleeved you don't want to run a big turbo because you can't really run that sort of boost levels. I was thinking about switching to a full T4, but I'm still undecided. $$$$
