I'm thinking of throwing a JDM 2nd Gen B16A into my 96 Hatch DX. So I've been thinking bout it and this motor is obd1. My car is obd2 so does this mean that I have to do a whole wire harness change by using the Obd1 wire harness in order for it to plug in the ecu that is provided with the motor or would my obd2 wire harness plug into the ECU too? Orrr... can I use my stock ECU and harness and just add vtec to it? Would I just set aside the ECU that gets sent with the motor? Man.. I'm confused.. would anyone mind answering all the questions I just asked. I just want to know exactly what I'll have to do besides dropping it in before I order it. Thanks guys.
