This is smoke out of the exhaust right? My guess is that it is smoking all the time but you just don't know it. At idle its easy to see smoke forming because you're in one spot, but as you accelerate it becomes a lot harder to notice since you are moving. Normally people only notice it while moving if their engine is under heavy load or high rpms.

I would say piston rings.

What color is the smoke. I have heard alot of people saying it could have to do with a blown head gasket or the rings. check it out.

Is it a fresh block?
Is the turbo old?
What color is the smoke?

block has about 5-7000 miles on it, was broke in under 3000 rpm for the first 1000 miles. The turbo isnt no older thatn 8-9 months. The smoke is blue.

blue smoke means oil burning, if i am right.

1. Check coolant for oil deposits
2. Check your piping for oil
3. Do a Compression test and/or leakdown test

Either the turbos oil seals are bad, piston rings are bad, or blown headgasket.
