Ok the other day it worked, but now when i connect it just says conection error. I have made no changes to the laptop or the hondata setup. The red light on the box flashes once and then stays on just like it should

 

Double check the serial cable connection between the laptop and the interface box. Also make sure the serial settings are correct and that in the datalogging options you did not tell hondata what ecu and version of software you have.

ah it all worked yesterday, but not today. i also got your idle problem going on here too.

 

Hmm weird. I'd check the Hondalogger settings then as that sounds like it may have something funky goin on. If it doesn't work let me know and I may be able to swing over w/ my copy and see if I can bring a datalogging session up.

As far as the idle goes... it's annoying as hell huh?

I'm running an 11lb Sohfast lightened stock flywheel w/ an ACT Xtreme pressure plate and 6 puck unsprung disc. It's not too bad on the street. Gonna change out to an ACT flywheel sometime this spring I think though. As the Sohfast flywheel isn't legal for any passes at the track 11.99 or lower.
