Tensioner bolt - :|
So yah.. I hate that f-ing bolt. Stripped it trying to get it off... dont know how, but it was probably me and the way i was trying to get it off - thats all irrelevant, so silently call me a moron.
Anyway... need some suggestions to get that bolt off/out. Its stripped.. bad. IE no more 14mm socket/wrench will work.
e: ...timing belt tensioner.

I had to grind the head off of mine with the motor in the car. After the bolt head was off, the bolt came right out. I tried vise grips, punches, etc and it still did not work.
Engines aren't to terribly hard to pull out, probably be quicker in the long run as there isn't any room to use vice grips or anything like that. You could pull off the timing belt cover and see if you can get any more room.
lol my idle cam pulley belt or whatever that, i think, is held down
by that tensioner bolt fell out last night.
was stopping the AC belt from spinning and making a rattling sound
my friend was wearing nike gloves and even tho the engine bay
was a lil warm he was able to get it out.
now i have a ac belt with a shitload of slack.
