Default how big of shot, nitrous question

well i am gunna run a NOS brand dry shot (can get it for 300 bucks) and i am trying to figure out how big of a shot my car can handle WITHOUT pushing the envelope on the rod/pistons. i was thinkin a 50 shot would handle nicely but also looking at a 65 and 75 shot solenoid.

heres the info on my car
89 civic hatchback
stock internal 1.5 liter
mpfi swap done (dpfi sucks)
short ram intake
4-2-1 header
exhaust

i am also goin to get a FPR w/gauge and maybe a fuel rail

what do you guys think is best??

You Should be fine witha 50 shot. Run colder NGK spark plugs. In the yellow box NGK-7's. When you istall the dry nozzle make sure it's 6-18in. away from the trottle body. if you go over 50 you need to retard your timing 2degrees.

Ex. 50-0 degrees retard
65-2 degrees retard
75-4 degrees retard etc...

If i were you i would stick with 50. It's more reliable. A 50 shot will wake your car up. I ran a 75 shot on my civic for a 1 1/2 years. I never had any problems but i ran the zex kit. YOu can run your NOS brand. Zex just came out with a tps system for other kits. I just got my book Friday. Hope the info helped.

are u sure u wanna buy a dry kit?
No, i hope he dosent want a wet system! I have seen alot of hondas survive with a wet system but i've seen more blow up. Stick with a small 50 shot.....if it's your everyday driver....trust me.
