Default injector questions (dsm 450) *pics*

ok, i got these used dsm injectors...
i think the o-rings on the fuel rail side is alright...but isn't there supposed to be a another bigger o-rings on the nozzle side (pintle cap side)?
if so, since i'm missing them, can i use my stock injector seals? thanks all!

oh, for reference reasons...my car is 99 accord 4cyl...f23a1 engine...

oh, i forgot...
i want to clean these guys, but since mr. mike palm isn't having a cleaning service until sometime in march, what can i use to clean them? my friend said i could soak them in some solution (i forget which solutions though). what are your opinions?

And YES, you'll need to use your stock Honda manifold seals (bored out with a dremel or something) to use those injectors since they are a bit fatter than the honda injectors.

ok, let me try to clarify my questions.

alrighty...i thought there was supposed to be a black/rubber seal there...and since it didn't come with it, can i use stock honda seals from my injectors? if i do that, will i have fitment problem with the intake manifold?

here's a pic i found from searching...

this pic shows dsm and honda injectors. i think one on the left is the dsm one. you can clearly see the seals on the bottom of the injector.

also, i didn't wanna spend time sending it to cruzin performance, so is there any home-cleaning method? thanks!

I had an extra set of the stock bushing/seals, so I bored them all out and doubled them up. Fits pertfect and no leaks.
I'm sure there are bushing/seals that are thicker. I heard someone say NAPA, for a Del Sol.

could always buy some new saturated injectors from RC already clean balanced and bp'd for around $85 each. no worrying about resistor packs and fitment either

This is your answer. I did the same thing. I don't understand this 'doubling' seal thing.

FYI, those seals are going to be special order. Oh yea, expect to pay out the *** because I went to Honda for those too. However, I went to Menard's and got basically the same thing for like $0.50.

what's menard's? i live in the east coast...is it the same thing as home depot?
doubling the seal means this...since the honda seals are smaller in height than the dsm ones...(compare the pics, one on the left is longer than the one on the right)...i think i might be able to stack two honda seals and get them to be equivalent to dsm seals...
is the stuff from the menard's heat resistant? i hope it doesn't melt or anything... what is it called? must be a plumbing dept.? thanks!

FYI, that seal that is on the dsm injector in that compare pic isn't an oem one. The stock ones are thinner (1/4") and hard and only go on the very bottom around the pintile cap. Thats just some rubber oring they put on there.

They have to be gas/oil/heat resistant. Automotive grade is not the same as standard. When you only use one seal, the injector base (near the pintle) is allowed to rest on the manifold. With two, it doesn't, and there is a better seal.
