starting problem....please help
just did a mpfi-dpfi swap and the car wont start. the starter spins the motor slow and makes wheezing noise. the grounds are fine and the 2 starters that i tried both test just fine out of the car. the car seems as if the battery is dead or low,but the battery is about 3 years old but still in good condition. i have tried turning the motor over with the plugs out and the dizzy off and same thing, but the motor turns freely by using a ratchet on the crank pully. any input would be greatly appreciated!
thats what i was afraid of since i started the swap 2 weeks ago and then i got sick and busy at work so it took till the other day to finish it. thanks
i tried the brand new battery from my accord and the same thing
. now it just clicks or turns really slow for a second then clicks. i will try a 3rd starter this weekend but they all test fine out of the car. is it possible the tranny is causing this eventhoough i can spin the motor with a ratchet? in gear, out of gear, with the clutch in or out STILL the same thing. i am getting soo frustrated and am hoping the tranny doesnt have to come back out.
