This has been happening for sometime now, but it has occured more lately. When i'm in a parking lot, or driving slow in an area, once i push the clutch in, after moving, the revs will drop so low, the car will die on me. Anyone had this problem, or what the cause could be.

 

mine does it every so often. something with the ignition most likely

 

i've almost replaced everything there is to, on ignition, except coil, cap,and rotor, maybe i will try replacing those ,and seeing, if it help. any other suggestions.

 

Does the car kinda hesitate at WOT?

 

not very often, but it will occassionally

 

by the look of that 1/4 mile time, it doesnt seem to be hesitating too much...

 

plugs, cap, rotor, wire, coil, air filter.

any one of these things, or all of them.

or something else entirely.

don't just throw parts at it, but if you haven't had it tuned up in a long time, get that done, and then go from there.

 

clean the throttle body, i predict that it's very dirty.

 

did you change the settings on your cam gears? mine died too after i changed the settings on the gears. that might be the problem

 

Mine did that after getting my Cams, Cam Gears, FPR, and VAFC installed.

After the settings of the Cam Gears were changed, my car started dying on me during Idle. Fixed it by leaning out the bottom with my VAFC. Doesn't die anymore and runs smoothly.

Also, check your Spark Plugs. That might be it.

 

yes i did change my cam gear settings, but it was a while ago, and it didn't do it , right after i changed them or anything..

 

This was happening to someone I know it was his idle control sensor

 

Skunk2nR, how much did you lean your fuel out (with your vafc) to solve this problem?
