Default Downpipe runs close to IC piping - any suggestions?

On tuesday, I'm going to a shop to have my Downpipe modified to fit my setup, but the way it stands, it's going to run VERY close to the IC piping going from the compressor out to the Intercooler. Any thoughts on this? I was thinking that I might put some of that heat shield wrap around the piping in an attempt to protect it from the heat. I'm most worried about the piping connector in that area melting...

i would heat wrap it if its stainless steal so it wont rust. If its not SS then get some hi temp paint to coat it w/ then heat wrap it.

Just my 02 cents

the connector will take the heat, as long as it's not touching it.
