just installed brand new 92-95 greddy kit on my 2000 civic ex. letting the oil and everything run through the new turbo now. how long do i leave it? and why is the led on the blue box blanking? when i rev it a lil bit it pours out lot of black smoke =\ and help asap plz

 

you just have to make sure the turbo is getting oil. AS for the black smoke...haha welcome to running rich and safe The blue box was meant to run really rich.

black smoke is normal.. but i will check all your connections of the blue box again...

the greddy kit's oil feed line comes in standard size, you don't need to cut nor extend it.. it's the right length

Thanks guys car runs good! havent really gun it yet.. cause frienmd told me to break it in?? white smoke is gone, runnng a lil rich i can smell it lol. but here are some questions for you guys.

1: do i have to break in the turbo? as in driving 100 blah blah miles etc
my current setup
d16y8 greddy kit 5.5 psi type 31 intercooled. (everything else is stock.)
What should i get??
i already have a dc sport 2 1/4 exhaust from a friend car thats going on. what else should i get next?? fuel pump? injector? Hondata? dyno my car?? Tune?? spark plug wires etc??

 

im still deciding on my SOHC turbo set up but i read into it ALOT, and one of the main things i hear that is REALLy good to get right away is a fuel pump.
