running lean with Greddy blue box.. help
I am using the greddy blue box. for some reason when i step on the gas peddal the A/F gauge shows it runing lean. I think i wired everything correctly.
I looked at the greddy manual and there are some steps that say take off the from panel and adjust switch settings and messing with the jumpers. Do you have to do all that or is it already ready to go from greddy??

if you are actually using the blue box, and not the e-manage, then there is no way you could run lean if it was wired right. the blue box piggy back is greddys way of makeing thier kit a "safety tuner" kit. ive been running on for a while now, and i dont even use the rest of the greddy kit, i run a much bigger turbo, probably more boost then that blue box is prepped for and it still keeps me running rich as hell. so all i can say is check the wireing to the blue box, or check the wireing to the a/f guage.

I think i am using the Emanage. I though the blue box and the Emange were the same thing. It is the one that comes with the standard greddy kit. It was a blue box so i though the blue box and the emanage were the same.
But i pretty sure it is the emanage becasue it has an Emanage sticker on it.
If i have the Emanage do i have to do all the switch setting and jumper changing or is it just plug and play?
I am using an Autometer A/F gauge. Is there anyway to check if my car is really running lean? Because i herad the A/F gauges doesnt really read it correctly.
HELP
Thanks

if the greddy kit it came from was for your car, then the roatary switches and jumpers should be set correctly. but take the time to read the manual and double check. can't hurt.

True that...
You a/f gauge is a narrowband, which is not accurate at all... it just gives a ball park figure.
A wibeband a/f gauge is accurate, and the only way to know for sure if youre running lean or not.
If your "blue box" says emanage on it, then it prob is... The difference b/t the blue box and emanage is that the emanage is programmable, vs. the blue box which is not.
Earlier Greddy kits came w/ blue boxes. I think Greddy pacakges the emanage w/ most, if not all their new greddy kits.
Hope that helps.
