A jdm 4-1 header should come along with the motor. I believe the ITR header will reach your stock cat, since it's a little longer than say a GSR. A stock ITR exhaust could fit in your 94 hatch with some minor tweaking. Hope that helped you some.

Pay about $125 and get a carsound cat made that will bolt up to your stock exhaust.

If you get it, swap the itr cat over to the civic, that will work too.

The header that you will get depends on the year ITR it is comming from.

umm... if his motor is 98+ spec then even if the header does reach his stock cat, it won't bolt up because the header has a 2.5" collector. get a JDM ITR (98+ spec) cat, or get a custom one from SMSP. An ITR exhaust can fit on your EG, but may need to be modified for length and/or hanger locations.

Good luck.

if the motor is 96-7 specs then you get 4-2-1 R header with 2.5" outlet. 98-01 got the 4-1 headers with 2.5" outlet. JDM R cat is too short to mate to the stock exhaust on your hatch. R exhaust is too long to fit without modifying. R muffler is extremly hard to slap into a hatch due to small space and will stick out way to much.

but which ever header you get you'll require a USDM lenght cat with a 2.5" collector. so I suggest a hybridgarage.com or others sold for this purpose.

type r cat is too short. and universal's won't fit. if u need one in a jiffy, u could always get a custom test pipe until u get a cat. then use the test pipe only for the track.

Not all JDM ITRs come with headers. I believe 98 or 99 on have them. I have a 97 and it didn't come with headers.

i dont have an ITR motor, but as far as jdm motors coming with the header i think it just depends...my motor came with a jasma header like the person above stated also...but yeah there is no way that you will be able to bolt up your stock cat to the jdm header as far as i know

the 98+ jdm itr comes with 4-1 headers. it's a stock factory part. the 96-97 come with an exhaust manifold of the 4-2-1's i think.
