A jdm 4-1 header should come along with the motor. I believe the ITR header will reach your stock cat, since it's a little longer than say a GSR. A stock ITR exhaust could fit in your 94 hatch with some minor tweaking. Hope that helped you some.

Re: jdm ITR in a hatch (VTEK 4 U)
Pay about $125 and get a carsound cat made that will bolt up to your stock exhaust.
If you get it, swap the itr cat over to the civic, that will work too.

if the motor is 96-7 specs then you get 4-2-1 R header with 2.5" outlet. 98-01 got the 4-1 headers with 2.5" outlet. JDM R cat is too short to mate to the stock exhaust on your hatch. R exhaust is too long to fit without modifying. R muffler is extremly hard to slap into a hatch due to small space and will stick out way to much.
but which ever header you get you'll require a USDM lenght cat with a 2.5" collector. so I suggest a hybridgarage.com or others sold for this purpose.

Re: jdm ITR in a hatch (charjacq)
i dont have an ITR motor, but as far as jdm motors coming with the header i think it just depends...my motor came with a jasma header like the person above stated also...but yeah there is no way that you will be able to bolt up your stock cat to the jdm header as far as i know

Re: jdm ITR in a hatch (TRENDSETTLER)
the 98+ jdm itr comes with 4-1 headers. it's a stock factory part. the 96-97 come with an exhaust manifold of the 4-2-1's i think.
