Does anyone have an aladdin alarm w/ auto start?? I need help.
I'm in need of knowing how to wire everything from the aladdin 2000 alarm. It's on the car right now, but I think it's wired incorrectly. It's caused a lot of problems with blown fuses and broken alternators. And this all happened when I got it back from the alarm installers. And I'm sick of their ignorance already....so I want to check it for myself. I've already taken it back to them about 4 times, that adds up to about 15 hours of work, that I had to pay for by the hour.
So if someone could help me out, I've got a '99 integra GS that needs your help.
I'm not very knowledgeable with the electronics, but they used 3 relays, not sure for what because I haven't looked at it in detail.
Please help...thanks in advance.

Here is the diagram for your car:
12volts white + ignition harness
Starter black/white + ignition harness
Ignition black/yellow + ignition harness
Power Lock black/white - drivers kick panel
Power Unlock black/red - drivers kick panel
Parking Lights+ red/black grn plug above fusebox
Parking Lights- green/yellow factory alarm (if equipped)
Hazards
Turn Signal(L)
Turn Signal(R)
Door Trigger lt. green/red - drivers kick panel
Dome Supervision use door trigger
Trunk/Hatch Pin green -
Hood Pin yellow/red - drivers kick panel
Trunk/Hatch Release blue - at switch
Factory Alarm Arm factory remote only
Factory Alarm Disarm factory remote only
Disarm No Unlock
Tachometer blue distributor
Horn Trigger gray or blu/grn - steering column
It is an easy car. You may want to go to a different installer. No alarm should be ruining alternators.

Yeah, I wish that I could go somewhere else, but I've already spent $300 on labor and $75 on relays from them. I don't think I can get my money back...
But I did want to double check their work before I went back and bitched at them...they've been working on my car for about 6 months now. It sucks.

Uhh. $75 on relays? Dude, you need to go somewhere else. I did a van yesterday, needed 5 relays (way more then your Integra), and it cost the customer $15. Your car is not that hard. What exactly is the problem? What model alarm do you have?

I hate to go somewhere else aready. If anything I'd like to get my money back for it not being done to spec.
I've got the Aladdin A-2000 alarm. The exact problem is that at first they wired everything and they got the autostart to work. But I noticed that the Accessory II wasn't going on with the autostart, like it should. So I wouldn't get AC running when I autostarted. So I took it back and thought that they fixed the problem, but right after they "fixed" it, thed I started blowing the speed sensor fuse all the time. And then my alternator died. Right now my car is out of commission...
So I wanted to double check their work, and then if that checks out then I was going to fix the alternator.
Oh yeah, and they even originally forgot to put the shock sensor unit it....How dumb is that. But I mean, they eventually did get everything to work.
Sounds like you're an installer. Is there anything that I can do from the customers point of view? I mean at first they were just going to do a flat rate of $150 for the install...and then they said that the wiring in the teg was all wrong...so they had to charge me by the hour because they were going to have to go through each wire and figure out what it did. And since that was extra work from normal, they couldn't charge me the normal rate. Did I get screwed or is there something that I can do? Thanks

sounds like your gettin screwed.. on the aladdin alarm theres a delay before the acc II turns on.. if you have the manual you can program how long the delay time is
I didn't know that it had a delay. That might be what's causing all of my problems. Does anyone know how to do that? I don't have the manuel.

Hey ill step in here now to help you out.. im an installer at a local store and have worked on many integras before.. if they said all the wiring in the integra was wrong then i would not go back to them.. i work for circuit city, some people have opinions bout going to retail stores like us for alarms cause we do so many.. honestly bro, if i see a hooked up car or someone that really wants a clean install, i take my time and do it right the first time so they dont come back like in your case.. Here is a wiring diagram straight from DEI it tells you where all the wires are, what the colors are, and where they are at.. take this to them tell them to fix it and bitch about having to pay soo much for an install that doesnt work, its not a BMW or Mercedes that requires a bunch of extra work to make it work correctly

Hey thanks a lot man. I'm going to take that to them... I really hope that they'll be able to make it work. Do you know if there is any chance to get a refund on my install...since they never got it to work right. I've been reading up on this a lot an I think I can do it myself. I think they just didn't know what they were doing because it's an import car and I'm in ford truck country. I know they never did a car like mine before...what do you guys think? Once again, thanks for the wiring info.
dont know about the refund bro.. depends on the price quoted and other circumstances.. sounds like a shitty installer to me. go back tell them your dissatisfied w/ the install and you would like to return it and get the money back if anything..
and how the hell you in ford truck country out in Hawaii?? they got all kinds of cars including hondas over there cause ive been there to see them..

I'd probably do something similiar to the Aladdin remote. Are you familiar with them? or maybe a clifford w/remote start. i'm yet to find a reputable source in Cleveland, Ohio. At this point, I'll go anywhere for quality work.
Time is really gonna depend on what type of install you want? Do you want the brain under the drivers side of the dash, where most shops put it? Or do you want it behind the instrument cluster or airbag? Do you want the wires ran however, or are you willing to pay more and get everything taped up and ran with factory wiring? Siren mounted on the inner fender or inside the bumper? Basic install with shock sensor or are you adding a backup battery, prox, tilt, etc.? The prices you get quoted at most shops is for them to toss the brain under the drivers side of the dash and run the wiring whichever way is fastest. Make sure you feel comfortable with your installer and agree with how the work will be done.
Well, basically there wasn't any price quoted, that's why the charged me shop rate and not the usual flat rate.
Oh and about the Hawaii thing, I got started on this forum when I was still in Hawaii....but I moved up to Oregon for school. So that's why, it's like that. But yeah, the import scene in hawaii is getting pretty damn big. It's cool.
