Prelude Supercharging RE: Endyn Blower Pulleys
With a supercharger on its way to installation.. i have a question about endyn blower pulleys. Should it be installed only if i have intentions of racing? Or is it okay for daily driving? What exactly does upping the boost do? thanks.
how much more boost will you have with the new pulley? i think 6 psi is just fine for daily driving. i'm not a serious racer, i just like to have the extra oomph under the hood.
and upping the boost means more hp. the rotors in the blower spin faster blowing more air into the combustion chambers giving you more boost, hence more power.
personally, i dont' think you should get the 9psi if your car is your daily driver. that's just me though. if you do things right the first time around, it should be fine for daily driving. dont' take short cuts and don't hesitate to spend the extra $$$ to have it done properly. you'll end up saving money in the long run.

It would not be adviseable to run higher boost on the stock JRSC kit. The reliability at 6 psi with the stock kit alone is questionable. For 9 psi you will need at least 440 cc injectors, engine management (hondata, AEM EMS, PMS, ect.), and GOOD TUNING. Forget about anything higher than 9 psi with the JRSC for the lude.
