B18C1 boost build up, what to do to the engine before the swap?
I am about to start my B18C1 swap into my 88 crx. I plan on getting the engine in and running, and then about a week later putting on a turbo, probably a max-rev turbo setup like my brothers (DOHCarp)
what should I do to prep the engine for boost.
I am trying to get 10 or more psi out of the setup on a stock bottomend.
I already have skunk2 IM and heavy duty ACT, and chipped p28
what type of things can I do without doing internal work.
thanks for the help

anybody? what would you do if you were going to put a turbo on a b18c1? Im just looking for some ideas, so I can save time and do it while the engine is out of the car.
10 psi will be pushing it. other people will tell you otherwise though.
if you want to boost more on a stock bottom end, look into a thicker headgasket, like inlinepro's or a cometic.
and definitly look into hondata, 550's, warlbro intank pump - and getting it dyno tuned

how many miles are on the motor ?
maybe change the timing belt , oil pump , water pump , etc...
just a few ideas that might help you out .
