Default most important gauges???

What do you guys
think are the most important gauges to have in a CRX?? IF it is not turbo charged, has a stereo, and new motor(rebuilt)? I know i want a air to fuel gague and i was just wondering what would be a good idea for the rest of the stuff so i know exactly what is goin on with my motor so i know if something is wrong.

Thanks,
Matt

oil pressure

i have an a/f ratio gauge also(autometer)...its kinda not really that useful. its not the most accurate thing in the world, but it will tell you if you are way off...and i may be wrong, but i don't think that it works with nitrous, you can use it but the readings are incorrect.

fuel pressure get the b&m one...it works and is cheap - even though its a 3 dollar gauge and a 50 cent banjo bolt that sells for 30 dollars it is still cheap compared to others.

oil psi, watertemp or egt.. do not go out and waste money on a a/f gauge, you will just pay for a little annoying lightshow that is not even close to accurate

True.

I think for all motor, the important ones are, oil pressure, EGT temperature, fuel pressure(most people leave it under the hood, by the fuel pressure regulator), oil temperature.

*edit* Oh yea, can't forget the big fat 5" Tach too.

Wouldn't the Hot cold gauge take care of the oil temp or is that just the water temp?? So no air fuel, oil temp, fuel pressure, oil pressure, what is the egt gauge? Do i want the adjustable fuel pressure regulator along with the gauge? or is that worth it?

Thanks,
Matt

egt is exhaust gas temp. its a much more accurate way of monitoring your a/f ratios. if you have no clue as to what temp you should be at or want to get at dont bother. if you have no means of adjusting your mixture, dont bother. in that case buy a digital a/f guage by nordskog ($28 at summit). they are not as accurate as a wideband o2 sensor or egt but they will still save your ***. and thats whats most important.
