Default Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge

I had my a/f gauge installed a while ago and i was just wonderin if its supposed to be goin back and forth from lean to rich rich to lean when at highway speeds and local driving??? i know it stays rich...way toooo rich at WOT. just wonderin..never had or saw an a/f gauge before so i was just wonderin if its normal.

yes, it doesn't read correctly tell you are at WOT.

It reads just fine when you are not at WOT. When cruising the ECU uses the O2 sensor to control fuel on closed loop mode. It cycles back and forth between rich and lean for emmissions and fuel savings reasons.

you probably got a Autometer gage, those gages are worthless.. you need a Greddy AF gage or a Apexi AF gage and a wideband o2 sensor it will be soo much more acurate
