Default Fitting 18's on a 96-00 Civic????????

I have 18*7.5 rims with 215/35/18 inch tires. My car is dropped with eibach sportlines. I did not put the rims on the car yet. I was wondering if anybody had a similar set-up because i wanted to know if they had to do anything to prevent from rubbing ( like bend up the inner fender in the wheel well or take out the fender liner ).

Biggest problem will be the width 7.5" vs. 7". I'd be willing to bet that your rims are running a 40 mm offset also. With that being said, then your problem will not be the rubbing from the vertical motion (bumps and such) but when you turn your wheels it will rub on the inside of your fenders on the metal and grind it down. Especially with the drop that the Sportlines provide I wouldn't do it with it that low.

Oh and with a build motor and a Turbo you will probably want something with which you can get more tire on. For example a thicker tire (45 vs. 35) will help with traction and should help make wheel hop not such an issue. Just food for thought.

My boy has 19's on his civic but he has ground control coilovers, no rubbing on his sheet.
You need coilovers to make it sit right.
