In an LS (stock 81 bore) you can use other 81 bore bseries VTEC pistons? without modifications at all, am i CORRECT? what sort of gains should be expected considering compression and all? and could you use oversized CTR pistons in the same 81 bore LS?

yes u can.need little bit machining on the ls rods.better use the pr3 piston.little bit lower compresion than ctr.

 

yep/...machine the rods 1mm on each sode and and vtec piston will fit

 

so thats making the rod 2mm total shorter?
