OK BASICALLY MY QUESTION IS WHICH TYPE R PISTON IS BETTER? THE CTR'S OR THE ITR'S?
FOR NOW ITS GOING TO BE A STOCK LS VTEC ENGINE
AND I HEARD SOMETHING ABOUT THE CTRS LIGHTLY KNOCKING AND AFTER AWHILE THEY CRACK? I WANT TO KNO IF THIS IS TRUE OR NOT.
THANX FOR THE INPUT

CTR pistons yeild you a high compression.
Look into the JDM p30 pistons.
They are alot more streetable. If thats what your mean by a stock ls/vtec.
Search Ls/vtec. Read and read some more, you will learn so much and know what it takes to build a reliable ls/vtec

it all depends what kinda head you are gona run... i used udsm p73 pistons in my ls/vtec that acualy yeild a lower compression than p30 and pr3
the pct's and jdm itr's would not work in my motor at all it would have 14.1+:1 comp.
im also using a gsr head that adds to the compression alot more than a b16 head
it all depends on your overall setup basicaly
