Just a question and curious as to what you guys think i might hit. Im not even sure im just rebuilding from a complete N/A build up. This turbo project will be complete in about 2 weeks. Well here is my setup tell me what you think i will hit

Im hopeing for close to 400whp after tuning with the AEM!

So you think i can hit the 400whp mark?

What cas would you recommend over these ones?

What size injectors are you running? That setup should net 400whp w/ the right fueling.

 

I knew i forgot something. I have 720cc injectors going in there!

ive seen much data on gsr cams being a nice addition with boost....but maybe he knows something i dont

u should upgrade to a tial 40mm , for higher boost.

 

I too have seen good stuff on stock GS-R cams!

 

I plan to tune to say 18psi maybe more depending.

I've heard people say that because of my turbo's trim size it may "run short of breath" so i figure that would work (35mm)

Alright guys. sorry for doing this to gsr cams. I Didn't think it would make a big comotion. Just thought since he is dumping alot of money in the motor why not get aftermarket performance camshaft. Thats all.

Going 83mm would bring me to 1.9L?

I also inquired and was told i may have to modify the head. I have yet to decide on what size sleeve im going with, i think im decided on 83mm.

 

Go with 83. Then if (I hope it doens't happen to you) you have to rebuild for some reason, you still have another 1 mm to bore out your sleeves.

 

Thats a good point I think thats what im going to do i was leaning towards the 83mm side.

 

It looks like a pretty solid build up, are you planning on upgrading your fuel lines? What fuel pump are you using? You should be close to 400whp, the only thing holding you back is the 50 trim t3/t4. What are all the specs on the turbo? Most 50 trims ive seen flow around the 330-350 mark, if you had the 60-1 i would say you'd put out well over 400whp.

 

what would be an ideal point to upgrade fuel lines?... 300 whp?... more / less?... curious what people think...

 

after you put down about 300-350whp you want to run a larger sized fuel line, -6an is a good size to use but i chose -8an so i didnt have anything to worry about with putting down over 400 to the wheel.
