DIY piping - how many pipes?
This DIY piping I have doesn't look like it'll be enough to make a charge pipe out of it. I have (4) 90' bends and a 120'ish bend. Should I break out the calculus skills on this one and derive an equation with this? Or just find some more piping?

The maxrev DIY piping doesnt cut it. I was under the impression it was a complete kit. Fortunately, my buddy gave me his DRAG 3 charge pipe to use.
Yeah the MaxRev piping is incomplete. A friend of mine(who posts on here, and may have better info.) needed atleast 1 additional U Bend in order to finish the piping, not to mention a lot of cutting and some welding.

actually redline , that pricing i gave you was for the whole piping flanged to what bov you need , all the lower piping and coulpings and clamps.
What is your friends user name? I have a couple questions. I need to finish my piping soon - also need a few flanges for my Downpipe and Wastegate.

I actually got 2 additional U bends. I had one U bend make the turn from the IC to the turbo compressor on teh drivers side. And the other U bend I used to make the upper charge pipe. You could do it with just 1 additional U bend but the stuff that came w/ my Maxrev kit would have not been enough by itself. I got the 2nd U bend just to make things easier, one less section to mark/cut/weld.
Here is the outcome of all my cutting/marking/welding, etc

Only one pipe is missing from that pic, the 90degree section that comes off the turbo compressor outlet that goes and connects to the U bend pictured on the right. The U bend on the right was additional and the upper charge piping was mostly an additional piece. HTH.

I don't know how they are around where you guys are from but a few muffler shops around here do mandrel bending for basiclly dirt cheap, they also carrying all the piping you could ever need. I was planning on just getting them to make me some u bends and saving a dump load of cash and shipping time. Plus in the future once i had the pipes made I could also go back and have them make the pipes in one solid peice insted of a bunch of welds, since you already have a template to go by. Just an idea. One question though how long are the u-bends you usually buy apporx. end to end? I was geussing about 5' ???
