What all does copper spray do? does it make a better seal?

 

100% correct it fills any indentations etc that might cause the gasket not to seal..

 

yeah its really good stuff, i allways use it on head gaskets

where do i get this stuff? maybe ill use it next time? soo do i spray it on both sides of the head gasket? do i let the stuff dry before i put it back together? sorry just dont wanna do it the "wrong" way

a bit of info from a thread I started...

 

i was reading that post and it says not to spray on a oem head gasket did i read that right? and why not? ive had great experience with honda head gaskets, just wanted to try that copper spray, heard lots of great things about it. .. . . ? soo? ?

 

that guy was talking about a composite oem like the one for 88-91 civics, they were not metal. anything 92+ I believe is metal oem

I just did a head gasket, I sprayed 3 coats on both sides...hope it was enough...
