Hints for building up a Del Sol Race Car

Hi everyone!

i want to build my Sol as a race car for auto-x and daily drive.

what are the "Do´s" and "Don´ts"?

Should i go N/A or Turbo?

Thanks for some useful hints

weight reduction h22a and turbo and built internals that would be a nice start oo suspentsion too really really stiff **** in the back.

If you're gonna auto-x as well dont do the H22....built B18 or B16 turbo would give plenty of power, and will still be able to be tuned well suspension wise

I'm guessing slammed hatch said that because the del sol is pretty heavy.... just my .02

Please state your reasoning, with facts not hear-say. And your experience with the swap.

Ok...well I have no *personal* experience with the H22 in a sol, my friend has one in a hatch and for auto-x it just doesn't seem like the best idea since there is so much extra weight up front than usual. A built B16 or B18 can put out plenty of power with a nice turbo setup and will not affect the weight distribution as much. perhaps im wrong
