ITR head... all the same?

ITR head... all the same?
just wondering if all itr heads... b18c, b18c5...etc etc.. 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01...are they all same? internally? are there anything different?

Well all I know is that the earlier heads 1996-1999 had the old Type R cams while the newer 2000-01 have the Civic Type R cams. Also I heard believe that the newer heads are ported by machines. But that is just a rumor I heard so I don't really know. Well everything else should be the same for all the years.

the newer heads i have gotten from the dealer were machined. but i cant speak
for the ones that came on the car. as far as valvetrain everything but the intake
cam is the same to my knowledge

what about the JDM head compared to the USDM head?

I read an article online that said that the 97-98 R's were hand port and polished and assembled. My friend was telling me that the 00-01 were all done by machine.

I have seen a video of the CEO of Spoon saying that Honda started machine polishing the Type R heads as early as late 1996, could be right. He said the machine polishing was more consistant than hand.
