First off i have searched. I have always wondered what cams i have in my car and i decided to take a pic while i was rebuilding my motor. The closest thing i see to the markings on my cams are the b17 cams but they dont have the last groove on them closest side to the dizzy. The head they cam in seems to be a ctr or jdm itr head. It has dual valve springs and the marks near the exhaust side of the head has a 97 stamp. Also just to say my car is a 96 gsr when i bought it from the dealership almost 10 years ago. the head and internals where there when i bought it. I would go with 95-00 JDM Type R/97-99 USDM Type R. If not those then they could be some aftermarket brand. They dont seem to be GSRs because they have an engraved ring around the dizzy key slot.

measure cam lobe height. thats what i had to do. measure the mid cam lobe and if u get 3.86mm then you got type r cams.
