OEM Piston
Hi, in the Honda parts catalog for OEM piston. They have piston set A, set B, and OS. I know the OS is the oversize but what's the difference between piston set A and set B? How do you know which piston set that will fit into your engine? Thanks.
So does it matter if I use A or B if I want to do an oversize for my block? The A and B is only available for the standard size piston, isn't it? Not for the OS piston?

Well if you don't want to do a hone, just match the exact combination of "B" and "A" pistons that it came with. That's what I did on my H22A1 when we swapped in Type-S pistons.
How was your taper and P2W? I've heard FRM cylinders are pretty notorious for going out of round with any amount mileage.
Jeremy, as Mike said, you would buy one "B" piston and 3 "A" pistons; they are usually sold individually, not as a set from the dealer. The piston "set" in the catalog I believe refers to a single piston & rings, and possibly wrist pin and clips.
