if i order a short (throw) shifter is that all i need or do i need other hookups to make it fit or is that all i need.......

 

Whats wrong with your stock shifter?
my advice is to just get a small shift ****, Im using a DCsports **** and it looks like a short shifter, the stock civic **** sticks up like 3 or 4 inches above the top of the shifter, here is a pic

Yes, but I would recommend some new bushing when you are under there. i just got the DC one and I ordered the energy suspension shifter bushing as well, they work pretty well and fell really good compared to stock spongy ones.

 

it should be, depends on where you get the short shifter and what company makes it.

change out the bushing while you're at it. get some if it didnt come w/ the shifter.
