I just replaced the whole vtec sol/switch with a usdm one for 60$ shipped.

Easy as hell

I'm not sure about bypassing it.. I don't think it'll work..

PM Darkteg, he will tell you what to do. He got a Kenji harness with a special wire connections to the pressure switch on the back of the block.

word up, i just swapped to a usdm vtec solenoid.

but here is what someone else posted on c-speed:

"i had the same problem with my jdm itr. i put a jumper wire on the plug where the switch would go. it sort of fixed the problem... at around 105-110mph part throttle or coasting it would throw the code again. if you look on the mounting plate for the soleniod/ press. switch. there is a boss for the press switch. i guess it's the same casting as the u.s. honda just didin't drill and tap it. so, what i did was by a vtec oil pressure switch and o-ring for like $50 at the dealer. took the mounting plate of the head, drilled the boss with a 11/32 bit and used a 10mm x 1.25 tap. i'm trying to remmember, i think i used a little teflon tap. i haven't had any codes or other problems.
