JDM R motor....no vtec pressure switch.....
I know the jdm ones dont have the pressure switch as of 1996, they did away with the, but i have a chipped p28 thats going with this motor in our friends car...
ive searched and seen 2 answers...
reprogram for one wire vtec
or
ground out the pressure switch wire from the ecu....does this meathod really work....i was afraid to try it fearing damage to the ecu....
any insite is greatly appreciated,

PM Darkteg, he will tell you what to do. He got a Kenji harness with a special wire connections to the pressure switch on the back of the block.
word up, i just swapped to a usdm vtec solenoid.
but here is what someone else posted on c-speed:
"i had the same problem with my jdm itr. i put a jumper wire on the plug where the switch would go. it sort of fixed the problem... at around 105-110mph part throttle or coasting it would throw the code again. if you look on the mounting plate for the soleniod/ press. switch. there is a boss for the press switch. i guess it's the same casting as the u.s. honda just didin't drill and tap it. so, what i did was by a vtec oil pressure switch and o-ring for like $50 at the dealer. took the mounting plate of the head, drilled the boss with a 11/32 bit and used a 10mm x 1.25 tap. i'm trying to remmember, i think i used a little teflon tap. i haven't had any codes or other problems. "
