nitrous bad for a jrsc...

Default nitrous bad for a jrsc...

i was told on another board that nitrous eats the rotors on a jrsc... true or false??

I believe it has to be after the charger blades. We are doing a direct port on ours.

if it is before the tb on say a dry setup i believe(and im could be wrong here) that it eats the coating or causes the coating to come off the charger blades. A direct port nitrous setup is in the im manifold runners after the charger blades so no problems with it affecting the charger.HTH

well it's a nitrous express wet kit so would that have any effect on it at all if it wasn't a direct port?

You can run a wet setup before the throttle body. Just don't run more than like a 50-60 shot. If you are going to run more, step up to a 4 fogger setup. Brian

i got a hold of jackson racing today and they said that nitrous is just bad for the jrsc unless i run a direct port setup
