Default JRSC WITH NITROUS??

I'm currently running a 98 GSR with I/H/E, pulleys, and a 55 shot of ZEX dry kit. I just bought a JRSC, MAP controller, walbro fuel pump, and an ACT clutch. I want to keep my nitrous setup because its so much fun. Is it possible to run the JRSC with a dry kit setup? It sounds dangerous to me. Sending in a shot of cold nitrous into a hot supercharger that compresses it and then into my engine! That sounds dangerous. I'm really sketchy about it, but I have the $$$ to do it all correctly. What do I need to run this thing properly? Are JE forged pistons and connecting rods a necessity? Should I hook up my valvetrain a little with some new springs and retainers? Someone suggested a Hondata ECU, but I dont know which one to get. Tell me exactly what I need for this setup. Thank you

I've been spraying through my charger for over 2 years dry, never had a problem. Just recently had it tuned for a approx 90 shot dry, put down 251whp on a mustang dyno from d16z6/m45 setup. Strongly reccomend Hondata Nitrous controls to make sure fuel added through the injectors is optimal.

a dry setup is definitely worth it but it demands a good mix of the fuel and the nos together. this is easily accomplised with a standalone like the Hondata or EMS, etc. Most people just run a wet shot since it's easier to setup and requires no difficult tuning for the fuel delivery as a dry shot would. If you are going to run it dry then i would start off with a small shot like say... 25-30 then work your way up till you've got the tuning down with the fuel in accordance. If you're just going to go all out then you can always go wet shot and put the fogger about 4-5 inches on the intake tube away from the TB. HTH.

The ZEX kit doesnt supply 20-30hp jets for the nitrous kit. So I can only go 55 hp. I'm gonna stay dry kit and not spray until I can afford the Hondata system. Its really damn pricey though.

JRSC makes good power with the addition of nitrous. But it all comes down to the tuning. I wouldn't even think about it unless your plan to run hondata. You can keep your dry kit and use the nitrous control on hondata to add the extra fuel. You'd also have to upgrade your injectors. If you got the $$ for all the extra **** than do it right, it will be well worth it.

Fuel pump, MAP sensor, CF hood, and JR cat are here finally. Now all I need to get is the goddamn SC kit, the boost gauge, and the volks. Unfortunately the volks are gonna take till mid-July to get here.
