How to wire a tach on a 93 Honda civic DX/CX???
they are already wired for a tach if you just want to switch to an Si/EX/LX cluster. just plug it in and go.
if you're talking about wiring up an aftermarket tach then you'll have to read the directions that come with it.

For an aftermarket tach, tap into the blue wire coming off the distributor.
If you're changing clusters, it's already wired. Just plug and play.

Like everyone else says if it's a stock cluster such as si,ex,lx,or vx then it will just plug in.... but if you are installing an aftermarket tach then you can do the blue wire coming from the distributor or on the driverside closest to the firewall there is a single wire plug that is just capped off... you can put the wire into that one.... that way you don't have to run a wire all the way to the distributor..... that looks sloppier.... and you have to use more wire.... but for the capped off wire i believe it is green..... It should be by the clutch master cylinder thingy.....
tach singnal is a single blue wire near the drivers side strut tower taped to the other wires, tap into this wire and you are fine, no need to go to the distrubutor.
