B16 build-up

OK. I have a B16 in my 93 HB and I want to port and polish it next and start by building up the engine. Any suggestions or has anyone done this? I want more power but definately need more torque, but I want to do it the right way. Anyone got any suggestions??? [URL]

forced induction.

If not, at least up your compression and get some good bump sticks.

you looking for reliability or just fast? go NA if you want it to be reliable but for power go turbo.

I plan on going turbo but not till later on next year now I want to work on the engine first. Has anyone polished and ported their b16 or b18 yet?

torque and a b16, thats hard to do unless your boosting. You can always build the head with a good port and polish and port matched intake manifold. Down the road you could do a b20 block if you wanna be crazy fast.
