Anyone have good results with this combo or is the Kamikaze the best header for a JRSC application? Do you know the best place to get a 2.5 race or free flow cat that will match up well with a 2.5 header and exhaust?

 

mine worked fine...230whp @10psi running rich...but kamikaze i've heard will yield even more power. yes it's a good idea to get a hiflow cat.

 

Where would I get the best deal on a Kamikaze header and do they still have a problem with matching up with the cats?

well this is my whole setup; kami headers modified to a 3" collector https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=312216 , 3" cat, 3" exhaust, +2 on the exhaust cam, and hondata. this is not BEFORE AND AFTER with just the header. sorry for the confusion.

I went with a 2.5" Kami and 2.5" resonated test-pipe.



Try to get a bracket welded on the collector to prevent leaks


Wrapped the header to aid in cooling the underhood temps.


Used a Dynomax 2.5" bullet muffler as a resonator and flanges from SMSP. Tig welded on by Sonny.

 

when I had my jrsc I had the DC 4-1(2.25) header but stock cat and itr exhaust and all I could do was 200whp and 149 tq
