3mm? I thought they were not that thick. When I had a blitz 3mm 2 years ago, on my b16 I lest the intake cam stock, I advance the aem cam gear to +4,8 degrees total, dont ask why but it was the only way I got car to pull clean in vtec. The inline gasket I believe does not throw the timming off as bad as the blitz does.So the exhaust cam might need to go to +2 ,I Hope others, can back this up or tell me I am wrong cause 2 years is a long time for me to rember that so I might be wrong, but I think thats what I did.Jason

I wouldn't rely on anybody telling you what they had their cam gears set to because of the differences your going to have between other people's and your setup. Now on my car with the inline pro headgasket I had them sitting on zero and never had a problem, the car drove fine and felt great under boost.

For this kind of stuff I would take it to the dyno to get optimal performance out of those gears so that would be my advice..
Btw the Inline pro head gasket is 2.7 mm thick

I advanced both cam gears +2, +2. This brings the intake cam back to the 16 degrees of timing like factory. I am using a cometic 3mm headgasket on my current enging set-up in my hatch. Think of adjusting the cam gears with a thicker headgasket to when you have n/a head milled. You need to retarded both cam gears to bring engine back up to the true zero mark.

Last I knew it was 2.7mm unless the changed it or the guy you talked to just round the number up..

But anyways if your only worried about a drive to the tuner just zero them both out you don't have nothing to worry about trust me on this one..
