switching from vortech to vafc/injector set up....have a couple ??'s
i am currently running a drag 3 set up (7lbs.) with a walbro in tank 255, stock injectors, and a vorech 12:1. Over the winter im putting a thicker head gasket in and im going to run like 15 lbs next year. Ill be getting a vafc with 440cc rc injectors. My question is when running the vafc do i still need my missing link installed??? Also will i be able to tune my car so it will run stoich. with this set up??? any help is appreciated. I also assume that i will not need the vortech anymore.......is this right???

You have to take your missing link out. If you get it on a dyno i think you might be able, to get it to run stoich, and you do not need he fmu any more. you will also have the engine check light come on because the afc hack can only handle about 10-11 psi.
map sensor......the afc hack works by limiting the map voltage that the ecu "sees". If you go over 10-11psi you will go past the limits of the afc and the ecu will see boost....which will throw a code.

Have you guys seen this V-AFC mod with 450cc injectors. It looks like it might work ok. Fine tuning could be accomplished with a wideband. What do you think? I'm thinking of trying it.
It would help if I posted the link.
