Default b-series pressure plate and flywheel bolts

I'm going to be replacing my clutch and flywheel on my gsr. I know i need 12 point sockets but what are the metric sizes for both? Also any tips on removing and torqueing back on the bolts? Should I use any locktite - red or blue? tia

10 and 17 i belive. it could be 12's for the clutch.

its always a good idea to use a little loctite blue on the flywheel bolts. just in case.

Yea they are a 10mm and a 17mm both 12pt.... I normally use Permatex Red high stregth high temp... It works hella good and is a pain in the *** to break off when you need to take the clutch and flywheel off again... It's worth it to me tho... Latez

thanks. I will probably go with some blue thread locker.
Also, for the shift linkage... Do i have to remove it at the tranny end by removing the small pin that holds it in? or can i remove the shift linkage at the shifter end?

thanks. I got the new flywheel and clutch installed. Found out a metal piece around the clutch spring broke off and it was spinning around inside and causing my car to shudder. It engages so much smoother and i cant believe how fast it revs with the aluminum fly. It was a big pain to put the tranny back on... had to grab a couple buddies to get it all lined up.

Better make it a 10mm 12pt deepsocket. The shallow sockets won't clear the shoulders on the pressure plate.

Nevermind...I'm really laggin' here.

Funny, thats the exact same thing I found when I pulled my transmission and replaced the clutch about 3 weeks ago. Congrats on getting everything installed and running again
