special socket for flywheel bolts?
im about to change my clutch and flywheel and just wanted to know if i needed a special socket to remove the flywheel bolts?
or is it just a regular 10mm 12 point socket?

ive put a 12pt socket on there and it fit pretty tight and it seemed like it would work but i havent removed the fly wheel because im kinda thinking what your thinking too

The pressure plate bolts are 10mm socket 12 pt. and the flywheel bolts are 17mm socket 12 pt. I have taken over 30 off and never had a problem.

No special tool just a 12pt socket to insure grip and not strip. You will need something to hold the flywheel so it dont spin on you.

12 pt. 10mm and an impact gun. Take them off in a criss cross pattern. I am almost positive you want to put locktite on the threads when re-installing them.

Negatory on the lock-tite is what he means....I think. I never use lock-tite on any of that stuff. It just makes it harder to remove later on.
