Default idle up &down air fuel ratio rich lean

1994 honda prelude with pro max turbo kit
#1 when car is at idle rpm up and down
#2 air fuel ratio gauge go's from rich to lean
any info would be great

air fuel meters usually only work at wot, not at idle or just regular driving....you have to be full or nearly full into the throttle.

not true. Whoever told you that is wrong. All the A/F does is monitor the readings from the O2 sensor. This will bounce in the Stoich area when not in WOT because the ECU will be constantly adjusting the fuel it's adding. When you're in a semi-load but not WOT it will read about mid Stoich to a little rich, as honda's run rich from the factory. in WOT, it should read rich.. way too rich straight from the factory (hence the benefits of an intake and such). Now if you're not in WOT but loading down the engine and your reading is in the lean to begining of Stoich.... well that's not very good at all.
