PLEASE HELP ME
Sounds like an ignitor to me. Pull the code anyway. Look up by your ecu(passenger side kickpanel) and there will be a connector with a green rubber piece around it. jump those 2 wires together and turn the key on. Then count the flashes. long =10 and short=1. Let us know what you get.

yes jump the connector with two wires going into it. That connector should come off easily from its holding position. Just insert a small wire from the first hole to the second hole, turn the key to on positon(not crank), you'll see the check engine light come on and stay on for a second followed by blinks. Example: the check light engine comes on and stays on for a second, that means number 1. Then the following blinks, lets say 6 blinks, means 6. Put them together and you get 16 and that would be the troubleshooting code 16.
does your engine crank over fast or slow? Does it make a grinding noise or low growl? Sometimes the starter may be at fault. I've heard that some starters starter drive get stuck on the flywheel so the only way to loosen them up is to hit them with a soft faced hammer. Try at your own risk.
