Car Stalls when I connect my EGR Vacuum to the IM
Ive been driving the car around without the EGR vacuum connected to the IM...
when i do connect it however the car stalls and dies....
Could this be a faulty EGR?
the engine codes i have been getting ahve been really strange...
It has 2 long blinks... then stays on... but doesn’t repeat what could that be?
Wereas before i got the code 12... for EGR after I drive it for a while it will come on i guess not enough lift (unplugged off course)
also i took a ROM dump of my 27C256 EPROM it had garbage compared to a stock program...
Reprogramed a new P13 Stock 27C256 and P13 SPOON program... but i still get the same ****...
the car will only idle if the EGR vacuum is disconnected...
ive check the wiring of it it apears to be fine... (what should the resistance between the terminals of the EGR lift sensor?)
The car runs fine and VTEC is engaging at 5000RPM but the pull isnt there, feels so flat...
Is this some sort of limp mode?

My manual says the code 20 is electrical load low/high. (2 longs is twenty)
Chances are have the vac leak (with the egr unkooked) is making your idle raise (taking in more air with throttle closed). When you reconnect the idle drops and the electrical load is too much for the firing of your injectors.
You've either got a bad alternator or a electric load sensor.

can that explain the noise i get on cold starts... sounds like churpping... then disappears afterwards...
