installing remote start on accord... need one wire..?
alright well i'm installing my remote start from magicar and i need to know what wire i tap into on the alternator <sp> there are four wires BL/Y W/B W/R W/G and i'm not sure which one i'm supose to use..the wiring diagram that i have doesnt show crap......also its a 95 accord 5sp.. oh and one more question where do i put the wire goin to the handbrake .. its the wire coming off the brake under the middle console right.. the green and red... i hope

If you need the tach wire, there will be a factory test connector under the hood. It is a small grey plug with one blue wire going into it. It will be taped up , probably with blue tape, and not plugged into anything. Look for it near the shock towers or near the airbox.
Not sure why you need the handbrake, normally you use the footbrake, but oh well. Take the center console out and you will see one wire hooked up to the base of the emergency brake. Hook it to that.

i might be wrong but i have never installed a remote starter on an accord where i had to go to the alternator wire, this maybe for a voltage test start. cause you already have the tach wire hookedup setup the alarm to tach sense instead of voltage, cause tach is a better way of remote starting the car anyhow.. am i correct??
