Need quick help with 1 radio wire...
My 92 civic vx that I just got had no radio in it and the wire connector was cut off... So I did a search on here and got the wire diagram. I have 1 wire left from the car: "RED/BLK= Illumination" and 1 wire from the stereo connector: "BLUE= Remote turn-on or Power Antenna"
Should I connect the 2 wires? OR Tape 'em off and leave 'em un-connected?
Thanx

So, I left those 2 wires alone.. Plugged in the ant. and plug to the radio. And I get NO power NO nothing.... The only thing that was diffirent from the wiring diagram that I got on here was: 12v constant blue/white, BUT on my car I didn't have that wire I had a white/blue wire. So, I used that as the 12v constant...?...
How do you know the wire you used was for 12v constant? By guessing randomly like that you could possibly destroy your new deck.
I hooked all the other wires up 1st. Then I had 2 wires left: red/blk, wht/blue.. The diagram stated that the red/blk wire was the illumination wire. So, The wht/blue had to be the 12v constant..
Atleast thats what my logic was...

Apparently you guessed wrong. If I were you I would go to a junkyard and get the matching plug that was cut off and re-wire everything. Then go and buy a proper wiring harness to hook everything up.
usually power wires are red or yellow. as for constant 12v if i recall correctly they are the yellow with a fuse. but not always.
as for that blue wire "remote turn on" that would be the wire to an amp

the yellow wire coming from your aftermarket deck is the constant power, red is ignition power. the blue one is for running to an amp if you have one
I`m having the same issue, but I check all my wiring with the new harness for my unit, and it`s not turning on. I checked all the fuses, I even replaced the old ones with new ones and I`m still not having any luck...
If the old deck worked then you have something mis-wired. If you're using an aftermarket plug-n-play harness then it should work with no issues.
The stock deck worked before I took it out. Than, I spliced the aftermarket unit`s harness to the stock harness and connected the aftermarket stereo. Than I tried to turn it on and it didn`t, I checked my wiring, all checks out. Than I tested the constant 12V wire on the stock harness and I`m only getting 4.5V...
Are you using one of these?

Yes, I cut the stock harness so I can splice the new harness to the stock harness. Yes, I`m an idiot i know, But I wasn`t thinking at the time. But I checked the site you gave me, thanks btw, and everything is where it`s suppose to be.
