Tach wiring help for a 93 civic HB????
Ok i need help wiring my tach and i have no clue what to do...somebody told me to wire it into a lil blue wire off the drivers side above the suspension...i out the "green" wire through the firewall and i need to knwo where to wire it so i can get a tach signal....and i need to know where the yellow, and where the red wires wires up to..i knwo black is ground...and i dunno if that is wired correctly so yea...if it isnt will it still work?...thanks for ur help

this is what i did.......
the green wire once through the firewall you want to quick splice it to the solid blue wire by the distributer. one of the clips has JUST a solid blue wire and a black/yellow wire. use that blue wire.
for the red wire i just quick spliced into the 12v source that goes to my cd player/radio.
and the white i spliced into either the red or white wire on my dimmer switch for the headlights. if i mixed something up someone help me out its been awhile since i wired mine. hope this helps

screw running the wire all the way to the dizzy. looks gay having a wire hanging.
go to the driver side of your engine bay. right next to the clutch master cylinder. you'll find a single blue wire, all on its own with a rubber boot on the end or something. tap the green wire from the tach into that.
the black is ground, then normally you have red and white left. the red will go to anything that has power when the key is on.. like the radio.
and the white would go to the fuse for the instrument panel lights. that way it lights up when you turn the lights on.
