Going to the dyno very soon and need a little advice

setup is b16(stock sleeves)
JE pistons 8.7 to 1
Eagle rods
Arp headstuds
stock head
ITR intake
Drag 3 kit

hondata
dsm 450's

we will be tuning on pump gas and just curious how much boost you guys are running on pump gas. My GOAL is to break the 300 mark and i hope its possible on 93 octane.

b16 guys give me some feedback. the car will be tuned at Payn technologies

You should be able to run at least 18-20.. Just keep turning up the boost with the timing low until it stops making power or you hear something and then up the timing until it stops making huge gains for 1 degree and your basicly set

 

You should be able to get into the 300whp mark by boosting 1 bar or 14.7 psi. I wouldnt boost more then 14psi on 93 octane gas. Don't worry Tom payne will take care of you.

 

yeah i just talked to Tom again today for like 20 minutes. He is a super nice guy. He gave me alot of good info. Cant wait to get this thing tuned!!!
