Typical code from the blue box. My idea on this is that the RC injectors don't fit inside the intake manifold hole. The stock one slides all the way into the hole compared to the 310's that only sit on top of the hole. The fuel rail is basically holding the injectors in place. The blue box senses that fuel is escaping past the o-rings. Its so little that you cannot smell or see the leak.
I tried some off the shelf RC 310's and their the same size.
Bottom line is keep on eye on your plugs. They will tell you what's going on inside your engine. I've been getting the same codes but my plugs look great with no residue.
I have a SMC and 450's ready to go. No more codes for me.

I really don't think the blue box works this way.
(hey prove me wrong)

Thanks man, Ive heard that before, my plugs look great, I just changed them maybe 500 miles again and they had 2,000 miles on them - yeah im ****!!.
I think its all tied to the blue box, i have no upgrades internally and followed the install (Art + Chris) perfectly. I dunno what else it could be but some people from clubSi have said almost the same thing.
ttt .. anymore ideas?

Check your compression and valve lash. Either of these out of spec. could cause that light. Also, check dist. cap. and wires, depending on how old they are. I would do the compression test first. A couple low cylinders would cause that. Worn rings, loose valve lash, or bent valves...

thanks Tony1, wires are new, so they are about 2000 miles new, Im going to get a compression test done tomorrow, I'll stop off at pep boys or autozone.
This sucks cause I have to drive back to NY on Sunday and I need a new O2 sensor too, uughhhhhhhhhhh

Tony, I dont think its the compression. He had a healthy motor when I put the kit in for him. But it can be the valve lash since I dont know when the last time he did a valve adjustment.

That sucks, sorry to hear that bro. I've had great experience with the blue box on my old civic. At 6-8 psi, i had a/f ratios at 12.0-12.5 just for reference.

i dont know if its the blue box man .
i have the same prob , 1st is was 71m and 74, i screqwed with things and once and a while it comes back now as 71 only .
i think i haev an injector going bad, no performance diff, if anything it feels stronger, but this damn code. i checked everything in the ignition , not it . if it comes back i will swpa the 1st injector with another to see if the code changes cyls
btw, im for the most part back to stock before the turbo install , all i got is my cai , ehaust , walbro 255 hig press, aem ful rail and aem fprmsd dig 6, msd blasster ss, msd cap and msd wires . i think those injectors are getting beat on tough.
i did a compression test after checking out the whole ignition set up and
cyl1-210
cyl2-220
cly3-210
cly4-220
so they all look good.
all these probs started a few days after I had the intake manifold out and layed the rail with the injectos still in it in the engine bay they mighta got banged around and fucked up?

Could it be that using a RRR to up the fuel pressure to those insane amounts [the GReddy kit uses the 12:1, right] cause the injectors to NOT open, thus causing the miss?
FredoSP: Is this happening only under boost or at idle....when/where is it happening?

i noticed it happened pulling out of some place and pegged it into vtec and there goes the cell , i think thta happened 2 times. the other time my girl had the car when it came on the 1st time .
my plugs looked like **** the 1st time . i had ther vafc tuned for my set up and tthen took off the header and test pipe and didnt think to reset the vafc, i pulled the plugs and they were black like a **** , so i changed em and tyook the vafc out . another time a while ago i had the fpr at like 78 psi or something like that by accident , im sure that didnt help them

I have been having an O2 CEL light, and this is what I thought it was, maybe the O2 caused this problem? Any thoughts guys? I reset the ECU and I'm driving her really nice, no boost for me
i had the same prob whit that blue box.1st under the hood you have a fuse box ,disconect the 7.5amp backup fuse so that your computer will reset each time you start your car, some code need up to to 3 cycle to show up(1 cycle =warm up,cool down)
2: regap your plug @32, factory is like 40 and is way to much so misfire will occure
maybe your to rich so raise the boost about 1 or 2 psi max
good luck
