I hear 500hp, is that at the wheels? Can't deciede whether I want to dish out the extra $300 for crower's

I have a deckpalted GE Block. Would Eagle Rods be strong enough or go for the crower?

 

I think Viren (b18bturbo) has put down over 600whp on Eagles.

Why have that doubt in the back of your mind while your pushing your car. Spend the little bit of extra money for peace of mind. After all, if one breaks then you're gonna spend a lot more than $300 fixing your motor! Crower has been proven time and time again. I see these posts all the time, doesn't that tell you something. I wouldn't try to push them.

Yes, only in a race car tho. Never on a street car.

Man art both you and me need some sleep but anyways I think you are going to have a hard time breaking them on a street car if your just going to run some t3/t4 turbo or even a t3/60-1 unless you don't tune your car at all and just run the crap out of it trying to brake something...

So kind of like art sead I don't thing they are going to break on your street car...

I personally love them...every engine I have built has been with eagle rods...for the money they cant be beat...and unless you are going to be putting down CRAZY horsepower 365 days a year then they are more than reliable. Any rod can be broken no matter if you spend a $1000 or $310. I am getting rid of the ls ones that I have so that I can go ahead and get my eagle sr20 rods.
